The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, with immense pride, patriotism and enthusiasm, as the school community came together to honour the spirit of freedom and remember the sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters.

The celebration commenced with the welcome of our guests, followed by the proud Flag Hoisting and National Anthem, filling every heart with a deep sense of patriotism.

Flower Offering to Bharat Mata was performed as a tribute to our beloved motherland, followed by a Tricolour Badge-Putting Ceremony.

The cultural celebrations began with a graceful Vande Mataram Dance, followed by a powerful presentation on the Kakori Kaand, highlighting the courage, sacrifice and determination of our freedom fighters.

A heartfelt poem and vibrant dance performance further enriched the celebration. The programme also included a special Felicitation Ceremony, recognising and appreciating achievements and contributions.

The stage then came alive with an energetic Fusion Dance, adding colour, rhythm and youthful enthusiasm to the patriotic celebrations.

Our esteemed Principal Ma’am addressed the students, reminding them of the significance of Independence Day and inspiring them to value the freedom gifted to us by our great freedom fighters. She encouraged the young generation to become responsible citizens and contribute towards building a stronger and more progressive India.

The celebration concluded with a profound sense of pride, gratitude and patriotism, leaving everyone inspired to uphold the values of freedom, unity and responsibility.
