Vardhman Academy celebrated the vibrant spirit of Navratri with great enthusiasm and festive fervour at Dandiya Utsav 2026, an evening filled with devotion, rhythm, colours and cultural splendour. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Suresh Jain ‘Rituraj’, Secretary, Jain Boarding House Society, in the gracious presence of other respected dignitaries of the Management Committee, marking the beginning of a memorable celebration. The event commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a warm floral welcome of the esteemed guests and judges, Dr. Kamakshi Jindal, Entrepreneur, and Ms. Ruchika Singh, Principal, Sangeet Samaj Music College. The dignitaries and judges were felicitated with floral welcomes and mementoes as a token of respect and appreciation.

The cultural extravaganza began with a captivating welcome dance depicting the divine battle between Maa Durga and Mahishasura, beautifully portraying the eternal victory of good over evil. The stage then came alive with the much-awaited Solo and Group Dandiya Dance Competitions, where enthusiastic participants showcased their exceptional talent, graceful movements, colourful attire and energetic performances. Every performance reflected dedication, creativity and a deep connection with India’s rich cultural heritage.

The excitement reached its peak with the announcement of the winners, who were honoured with trophies in recognition of their outstanding performances. The celebration then turned into an open dance floor, where everyone joined in, swaying to the lively beats of the dandiya sticks. The atmosphere resonated with laughter, music and infectious enthusiasm as participants and guests danced together and cherished every moment of the evening.
