Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, Meerut celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi and Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm, devotion and patriotic pride through a special assembly organised today.
The celebration commenced with a soulful Ganesh Vandana, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha for wisdom, knowledge and prosperity. This was followed by the Prayer, Pledge and Thought of the Day, creating an inspiring beginning to the special occasion. A thoughtful speech on Hindi Diwas further highlighted the richness, beauty and cultural significance of our national language, encouraging students to value and preserve the legacy of Hindi.
Adding a devotional touch to the celebration, the students offered flowers to Lord Ganesha with reverence, seeking his blessings for wisdom and success.
The festive spirit was beautifully reflected in the creative efforts of the Kindergarten Wing, where the little ones enthusiastically created Lord Ganesha through Art & Craft, transforming their imagination into colourful and creative expressions. Their adorable creations added a special charm to the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
The celebrations continued throughout the day with various engaging Hindi literary activities that provided students with a wonderful platform to express their creativity and linguistic skills. Students of Classes 3–5 participated enthusiastically in a Hindi Doha Gayan Competition, while students of Classes 6–7 showcased their expression and confidence through a Hindi Poem Recitation Competition. The young writers of Classes 8–10 put their thoughts and imagination into words through a Hindi Essay Writing Competition.
Our respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Rekha Sharma, appreciated the sincere efforts, enthusiastic participation and wonderful performances of the students. She encouraged them to continue nurturing their love for language, literature, culture and values.
