“Powerful stories inspire powerful change, and young voices have the power to shape a better tomorrow.”
Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, Meerut, organised an engaging Inter-House Digital Documentary Making Competition for students of Classes IX to XII, centred around significant global issues that influence our present and shape our future.
The competition provided a wonderful platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, research skills, digital proficiency, and critical thinking through meaningful visual storytelling. Each house explored a thought-provoking theme, with Ashoka House presenting a documentary on Artificial Intelligence, Jawahar House highlighting Refugees & Migration, Shivaji House drawing attention to the urgent concern of Climate Change, and Tagore House spreading awareness about Plastic Waste in Oceans.
Through compelling visuals, thoughtful narratives, and impactful messages, the young filmmakers showcased their understanding of global challenges while inspiring the audience to reflect upon their responsibilities towards society and the environment. The competition beautifully demonstrated how technology and creativity can become powerful tools for awareness and positive change.
Our respected Principal Ma’am appreciated the dedication and innovative efforts of all participants and encouraged students to remain informed, socially responsible, and environmentally conscious. She emphasised the importance of using digital platforms constructively to address real-world challenges and contribute towards a sustainable future.
The competition concluded with Shivaji House emerging as the Winner for its impactful documentary on Climate Change.
The competition served as a powerful reminder that every story can inspire change, every voice can make a difference, and every idea can shape a better future!
