Learning Beyond the Classroom - Kaushal Bodh Project Begins!
With great enthusiasm and curiosity, the students of Classes 6 and 7 have taken their first step into experiential learning through the Kaushal Bodh Project. The journey began with an insightful visit to a local plant nursery, where students explored the vibrant world of plants and gardening.
During the visit, students keenly observed a wide variety of plants, gardening tools, and modern as well as traditional techniques used in nurturing greenery. They interacted, questioned, and learned about soil types, plant care, watering methods, and the importance of sustainable practices. This hands-on exposure not only enhanced their observation skills but also encouraged critical thinking and a deeper connection with nature.
Inspired by this enriching experience, the students are now all set to bring their learning into action! They will be developing their very own plant nursery and a small kitchen garden within the school premises. This initiative will allow them to apply their knowledge practically, understand responsibility, and witness the growth process firsthand.
Through this project, students will cultivate not just plants, but also values like patience, teamwork, and environmental consciousness. It is a step towards nurturing young minds to become responsible citizens who care for nature and contribute positively to the environment.
Learning by doing, growing by nurturing!
