“Meerut — where history speaks, culture thrives, and pride lives in every heart.”

A special assembly on the theme “My City, My Pride – Meerut” was organised to celebrate the rich history, culture and identity of our vibrant city.

The assembly began with a prayer, pledge and thought for the day, followed by insightful speeches and poems presented by our young learners.

Adding a creative touch, students prepared colourful placards highlighting Meerut’s unique identity — from being known as the “City of Scissors” to its significant role in the 1857 Kranti, along with its famous historical and cultural landmarks.

The activity helped students discover and appreciate the remarkable legacy of their hometown while instilling a deeper sense of pride and belonging towards Meerut.
