“Freedom is not just a right;  it is a responsibility to build a better tomorrow ”.

Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, came alive with patriotic fervour as our young learners organised a special programme to commemorate India’s 80th Independence Day.

The celebration began on a solemn note with a prayer and pledge, reminding everyone of their duties towards the nation. This was followed by beautiful patriotic poems, a special poem on the historic Kakori Kand, graceful dance performances and inspiring speeches, filling the atmosphere with pride and love for our motherland.

Adding a special charm to the celebration, the little ones from the Kindergarten Wing came dressed as brave freedom fighters, adorably portraying the heroes who shaped India’s journey to independence.

Later on our respected Principal Ma’am engaged the young students in a thoughtful interaction by asking them what Independence Day truly means to them. She explained the significance of our freedom, the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters, and the responsibility that rests upon the young generation to preserve the values of freedom, unity, peace and patriotism.

The programme concluded on a proud and patriotic note with the National Anthem, as everyone stood together with respect and devotion, filling the atmosphere with a deep sense of national pride.
