As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign, Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, Meerut enthusiastically participated in the nationwide “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath” Shramdaan initiative on 1 October 2026. The initiative encouraged collective participation and voluntary service for cleanliness.

The day began with an enthusiastic Swachhata Rally, where our students spread the message of cleanliness, responsible citizenship and keeping our surroundings free from waste. With inspiring slogans and active participation, the rally encouraged everyone to understand that cleanliness is a shared responsibility.

Following the rally, students and staff actively participated in a cleanliness and beautification drive across the school premises and playground. With enthusiasm and teamwork, they contributed towards maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming learning environment.

A special focus was placed on habitual waste segregation, helping students understand the importance of separating waste appropriately. The activity reinforced the values of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (RRR) and encouraged responsible waste-management practices.

The active participation of our students reflected enthusiasm, teamwork, discipline and responsible citizenship. The initiative provided our young learners with an opportunity to turn the values of cleanliness and environmental responsibility into meaningful action.
