Decoration to light the life, Present to share success, Fire to burn evil, Sweets to sweeten success and Worship to thank God !"
The spirit of any festival is felt the most when we come together as a family, community and country to celebrate it together. At Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden students of Classes I and VIII celebrated Diwali by participating in activities like Rangoli making, Diya decoration, Card Making, Wall & Door Hanging, Pot and Thali Decoration.
India is a land of festival and culture characterised by colourful gaiety, enthusiasm and prayers. The activities were organised to make the students aware about the purpose of Diwali celebration and make them understand how a celebration amalgamates and displays the culture of our country.
All the students came in with full preparation and enthusiasm for the celebration. Diwali celebrations illuminated everyone's heart with joy and fervor. Children of Kindergarten too made elegant Paper Diyas and Cards.
The celebration made students aware about Indian tradition and helped them to strengthen their culture. They had a fun filled experience developing artistic skills at the same time. The celebration conveyed a strong message that Diwali is a festival of lights and depicts the victory of light over darkness; good over evil.
