Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led to India to its glorious freedom.
Lal Bahadur Shastri endures as a symbol of integrity, humility and dedication to the nation. He maintained a simple lifestyle and was known as “The Man of Peace” for his commitment to nonviolent means in resolving conflicts. His contributions to India’s development and his leadership during challenging times continue to inspire generations.
2 October every year is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti and the birth anniversary of India's 2nd prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastriji.
To revere this day, the Students and Teachers of Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden held a Special Assembly on 30 September 2023. The program began by garlanding the photos of Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri ji and lamp lightning by our respected Principal Ma'am Ms. Swati Munshi.
Later ma'am gave a speech reflecting light on the lives of Gandhiji and Shastriji that brought the gathering to understand more about these iconic leaders.
All our Students were imbued with the values and thoughts of these leaders and vowed to become berths citizens of India and this World.
