Krishna Janmashtami also known as Gokulashtami, this auspicious day is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna on this planet. Lord Krishna is believed to be the most powerful soul and the 8th incarnation of the Lord Vishnu.
Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, Mawana Road, Meerut organised a special assembly today to celebrate Janmashtami.
The program began with traditional lamp lightning and garlanding of Maa Saraswati by our respected Principal Mrs. Swati Munshi ma'am to seek her blessings. A ballet staged by the students brought to life the important incidents from the life of Shree Krishna. Small tableaus showing birth of lord Krishna, how he had been sent away to Gokul by Vasudev to Yashoda and Nandlal, Krishna Ras-leela, Krishna Sudama Milan. We ended the program by the dance performance of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani with Gopiyaan.
