Kranti Diwas is observed to remember the historic day of May 10, 1857 and pay tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to liberate their country from the shackles of British rule.

To imbibe the true spirit of nationalism and to remember the freedom fighters, Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden organized a special assembly which was initiated with a beautiful poem to pay tribute to the freedom fighters. The students were attired as various great freedom fighters and paid tribute to the immortal warriors who have sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Later an Inter House Group Song Competition was conducted wherein the students showcased their patriotism. The 4 groups from the four houses put forth their enthralling performance. The children sang the songs with confidence and passion.

Each house was judged over the following criteria: confidence, pitch, rhythm and tone.

The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self-confidence as a result of the competition.

The Principal, Ms. Rekha Sharma encouraged the students to keep up the spirit of participation.
