Krishna Janmashtami is a festival commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, today at Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, Meerut celebrated Janmashtami with mirth and joy. The students came dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, playmates and friends of Krishna’s childhood. They were accessorized with colorful bangles, odhnis and peacock crowns to set the Janmashtami mood. The School premises was decorated with balloons, flutes, matkies giving the vibes of festivity.
The day began with the lighting of a traditional lamp, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. Our students then showcased their talents with enchanting traditional dance forms, bringing the essence of this auspicious festival to life.
The air was filled with excitement and the spirit of festivity as everyone participated in the colorful and cultural performances. It was a memorable occasion that highlighted the rich traditions of our heritage.
The teachers instilled the value of self-worth and introspection in the students. The day was a delightful divine journey for the students.
