"It is better to win over self than to win over a million enemies."
The birth anniversary of Bhagwan Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankar - Prophet of Jains, was celebrated with great fervour at Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, Meerut on 20th April, 2024.
A special assembly was organised in the school where students learnt about the life and noble teachings of Bhagwan Mahavira.
The programme was commemorated with lighting of the lamp.
The young impressionable minds pledged to live a righteous life and follow the ethical principles of Jainism, Ahimsa Paramo Dharma. The assembly culminated with an enticing performance given by the school choir group. Our students delivered a speech about Lord Mahavira who was believed to be a proponent of non-violence and preached love and respect to all kinds of living beings. Students enacted the Life history of Lord Mahavira and made us to realize the importance of his 4 principles “Non-Violence, Truthfulness, Non-stealing, Chastity”.
Our Principal guided students to follow the principles of Lord Mahavira to lead a peaceful life.
