In honor of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and his groundbreaking contributions to the world of mathematics, we celebrated National Mathematics Day with an exciting Inter-House Quiz Competition for the students of classes VI to VIII.
The day kicked off with a captivating performance by our talented junior wing students, who presented a short act highlighting the importance of the number zero – a concept that revolutionized the world of mathematics! From its ancient origins to its modern applications, the act brought to life how zero is not just a number, but the foundation of countless mathematical discoveries.
Following the act, our young mathematicians showcased their skills in the quiz, answering a series of challenging and fun questions on mathematics, logic, and the legacy of Ramanujan. The competition was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a true spirit of learning!
A heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their knowledge and spirit, and a special shout-out to the winner house, ASHOKA HOUSE for their remarkable performance!
Let’s continue to honor Ramanujan's legacy by embracing the beauty of mathematics and exploring the wonders of numbers every day!
