In collaboration with the Forest Department, Meerut, an awareness workshop under the “Manjha Tyago” Campaign was organised at Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden to sensitise students about the harmful effects of manjha.
Events Coordinator Priyanshu briefed students on the serious injuries and fatalities caused by this deadly kite string and shared that the campaign is in its 5th phase. Addressing the gathering, club Founder termed manjha a “string of death” and urged students to act responsibly, stressing that the NGT ban (2017) will be effective only with public support.
Students were encouraged to avoid Chinese manjha and pledge to boycott its use.
