Helping Young Minds Understand, Not Judge
Our school took a meaningful step towards nurturing emotionally aware and empathetic learners by organizing an enlightening workshop for students of Classes VI to VIII titled “Why Some Brains Pause: Understanding Visual Freeze.”
The session was led by Ms. Garima Tyagi, Clinical Psychologist and Founder – Arka, who sensitively guided students to understand how the brain reacts during moments of stress and overload. Through relatable examples and thoughtful interaction, students gained valuable insights into the concept of visual freeze and learned the importance of responding with understanding rather than judgment.
The workshop empowered students to recognize emotions, respect differences, and build compassion—essential life skills in today’s fast-paced world. It was truly a step forward in promoting mental well-being and emotional resilience among our young learners.
