Rama Navami is a joyful festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Rama who is particularly important to the Vaishnav tradition of Hinduism, as the seventh avatar of God Vishnu.
To keep our rich cultural heritage alive and continue our endeavour for a value based education, Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden organised a special assembly to celebrate the festival of Rama Navami on April 16, 2024.
To begin with, the ceremonial lamp was lit in the pious feet of Maa Saraswati and Lord Rama.
Students came dressed up as Shree Rama, Mata Sita, Shree Lakshman & Hanuman ji.
Anjali Panwar a student of class X explained the significance of Shree Rama Navami & different traditions followed all over the world to show their love & fondness to Lord Rama & Mata Sita. Later she asked questions from the students based on her speech.
The purpose of celebrating the festival was to familiarize the students with our culture and traditions. The students participated enthusiastically and the assembly was enjoyed by all.
The atmosphere was filled with the spirit of devotion and love for Lord Rama.
