On 28th October'24, Vardhman Academy, Radha Garden, Meerut held a special assembly to celebrate Deepawali and National Unity Day, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the prominent Indian Independence activist and the first Deputy Prime Minister of our country. The event was a beautiful blend of cultural festivities and reflections on unity.
The assembly began with a mesmerizing prayer by the school choir group, followed by inspiring speeches that highlighted Sardar Patel's contributions to our nation and the importance of national integrity. Students showcased their talents through traditional songs, poems and speeches that celebrated the spirit of Deepawali, emphasizing the victory of light over darkness.
As we lit diyas, we also reflected on the values of unity and togetherness that Sardar Patel- Iron Man of India championed. The event served as a reminder of our shared responsibility to promote harmony in our diverse nation.
Our Principal Ms. Rekha Sharma inspired the children to light up their lives with knowledge, wisdom and compassion and wished everyone a joyful Deepawali and a commitment to unity.
